I know I promised I would unplug myself from the computer for a while so I could dig deep into my writing for the week, but I have a good excuse that I bent that promise a little bit. At 11:00 last night, while checking some emails and social media updates, I stumbled across this. The prize is pretty major for where I am at in my WIP right now, and I am scared to death of anyone not liking it, or me, but I'm going for it. Wish me luck!

Well, by now it is apparent I didn't capture the eye of the judges on this contest. Honestly I didn't expect I would because, in my opinion, I had committed a very major faux pas within the first couple sentences of my piece. I have since corrected said error and I am indeed very greatful to all of my lovely friends for your encouragement and support in getting me to enter this contest in the first place. Had I not done so, I would not have been able to find the renewed drive I needed to dig deep and keep on writing. ~H
